David G. Domian, CFP®, AEP®
Registered Principal and Financial Advisor
With over 45 years in the financial services industry, David brings a steady, experienced perspective to retirement planning, tax planning, and estate planning for families across Chesterfield and the greater St. Louis area. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and Accredited Estate Planner®, David is one of the first and original CFP® professionals in Missouri. He works primarily with retirees and high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families planning wealth across generations, with a particular specialty in the tax and estate strategies that help wealth transfer efficiently and privately — and in helping clients invest prudently through a long retirement.
David’s philosophy emphasizes wealth accumulation, minimizing taxes and volatility in retirement, addressing longevity risk, and ensuring assets pass on efficiently across generations. Within our process, he serves as the defensive foundation of the plan, helping clients navigate complex decisions with clarity and confidence. David also serves as a Board Member on the Estate Planning Council of St. Louis.
David has been married to his wife, Sue, for over 41 years; they have four children and eight grandchildren and have lived in St. Louis their entire lives. A big believer in family, David still hosts family dinners most Sundays. He enjoys the outdoors — especially fishing with his grandchildren — and an annual cross-country motorcycle trip with three college friends, who together have ridden through more than 40 states. David and Sue support many charitable organizations, including the MS Society, Cystic Fibrosis, the Lupus Foundation, the St. Louis Men’s Group Against Cancer, and the Mary Culver Home for vision-impaired women. They give in a memorable way: David donates a pig roast — cooked, carved, and served on site — as a live-auction item, a popular way to have fun and do some good in the community.
